Pancake Mix Pie Crust? Oh Yeah!


This super simple four (5) step recipe makes perfect, buttery and flaky pie crust!

  1. Pour out 2.5 cups of Barlow's Foods Original Pancake Mix

  2. Cube 1 cup (16 tbs) of cold butter and press into pancake mix using clean hands, pastry cutter or a fork until the mix feels like beach sand with pea sized lumps

  3. Add 4-8 tablespoons of water, one at a time to moisten dough until it comes together into a ball.

  4. Pour onto a lightly floured (all-purpose flour) counter or cutting board and work into a disc.

  5. Wrap your dough in saran wrap and chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours before rolling out and using for your favorite pies and pastries!

p.s. Don't forget to top those pastries with Sweet Cream Caramel Sauce!
